The General Data Protection Regulation ( G.D.P.R.) will take effect on 25th May 2018. This regulation states that Snowden photography has to inform you that they hold your personal data, how they got your data, what they use it for and how they securely store it.
The data held by Snowden Photography is:
Your name, child’s name and date of birth, address, email, telephone number and the photographs taken during a sitting.
Your data was supplied to Snowden photography by one of the following means:
Recommendation, website enquiry, email enquiry, Bounty, MPA Cherubs, telephone enquiry, wedding fayre enquiry, social media enquiry or text enquiry.
What your data is used for:
Your data is only used by Snowden Photography to make appointments, remind you of your up and coming appointments, notification to collect your photo products and when requested, to send them to you. Your images are kept for potential future sales.
Where is your data stored:
All photographs taken are held on the computer, portable hard drives, SmugMug (website manager) or Image partner (printing company) and Virgin Media. All images taken will not be used on the internet, social media or any advertising without prior written consent. This consent can be withdrawn at any time and your data and images will be deleted. All data and imagery is stored as a hard copy or electronically. The hard copies are stored in a locked building covered by C.C.T.V. The electronic counter part is kept on the computer protected at all times by McAfee security software and backup drives are stored in a fire safe.
